Description

This standard applies to sealing gaskets of solid elastomeric materials for window and door units (hereinafter referred to as "seals") produced using extrusion technique and designed for sealing of various types of window and door units, erection joints of multiple glass units and other translucent structures. The requirements of the standard do not apply to self-adhesive seals. The requirements of this standard are normative (except for those specifically mentioned in the text as recommended or informative). The standard can be applied for certification purposes. |
