Description
|
This Federal Law is introduced for the purposes of protection of life, health, and property of citizens and legal entities, state and municipal property against fires; it establishes basic provisions on technical regulation in the domain of fire safety and determines general fire safety requirements to facilities (products) subject to protection, including to buildings and structures, production facilities, fire-fighting products and general-purpose products. Provisions of this Federal Law on assurance of fire safety of assets to be protected are mandatory for: 1) engineering, construction, capital repair, reconstruction, technical re-equipping, alteration of functional purpose, maintenance servicing, operation and disposal of assets to be protected; 2) development, adoption, enforcement and implementation of the technical regulations accepted in accordance with Federal Law “On technical regulation” containing fire safety requirements, as well as of regulatory documents on fire safety; development of technical documents for assets to be protected. |
