Description
|
This standard specifies the principal concepts of metrological support of measuring systems (hereinafter referred to as MS) within service life: development (design), production (manufacturing, installation and alignment at operation facility) and operation. This standard covers the following MS: released by the manufacturer as finished articles (but for communication lines and computing machines) to be installed by directions given in operating manuals with rated metrological performance of measuring channels of the system (further mentioned as MS-1); designed for specific facilities (groups of generic facilities) of MS components released mostly by different manufacturers and accepted as finished articles immediately at the operating area. Installation of the above MS at the operating area shall be conducted in compliance with design baselines and operating manuals covering the components. The above baselines contain the rated metrological performance of measuring channels and components (further mentioned as MS-2). The listed types of MS may be applied both, independently and as a part of complex structures (informative and measuring systems, control and diagnostic systems, image recognition systems, testing equipment, as well automatic control systems applied for process management). A measuring system of the above complex structures may be distinguished on a functional level. |
