Description

1.1. This set of rules has been developed in accordance with Articles 24, 25, 26, 27 of Federal Law of 22 July 2008 No. 123-FZ "Technical Regulations on fire safety requirements," it is a regulatory document on fire safety in the field of voluntary standardization use and establishes the methods for determination of the classification criteria for referring buildings (or parts of buildings between the fire walls - fire compartments), facilities, structures and rooms (hereinafter - buildings and rooms) of industrial and warehouse use of class Ф5 to categories on explosion and fire hazards, as well as methods for determining the classification features of external installations categories for industrial and warehouse purpose (hereinafter - external installations) on fire hazard. 1.2. The classification of buildings and rooms on explosion and fire hazard is used to establish the fire safety requirements to prevent fire potential and provide fire protection of people and property in case of fire. Classification of external installations on fire hazards is used to establish the fire safety requirements to prevent the possibility of fire and provide fire protection of people and property in case of fire on external installations. 1.3. This set of rules does not apply to: - rooms and buildings for production and storage of explosive substances (hereinafter - the explosives), means of initiation of explosives, buildings and structures, designed according to the special rules and regulations, approved in accordance with the established procedure; - external installations for the production and storage of explosives, means of initiation of explosives, external installations, designed according to the special rules and regulations approved in accordance with the established procedure, as well as for determinations of the explosion hazard level of external installations. 1.4. This set of rules can be used to develop specific technical requirements for the design of buildings, facilities, structures and external installations. |
