Russian standard for symbols of rescue and fire fighting equipment

The new Russian national standard GOST R 58791-2019 “Fire and rescue equipment. Conventional graphic signs" was adopted, which comes into force on January 1, 2021.
The new standard establishes requirements for conventional graphic signs of fire and rescue equipment used in the development of fire extinguishing plans, plans for localization and elimination of fire hazardous situations and fires, in the development of fire-tactical exercises, implementation of the graphic part of materials for the study of fires and schemes of the arrangement of forces and means during their extinguishing.
