Quality control of medical imaging of magnetic resonance equipment
28 January 2021
The national standard GOST R 59092-2020 “Magnetic resonance equipment for medical imaging. Quality control of images. Test methods" was adopted, which comes into force on March 1, 2021.
The standard applies to magnetic resonance imaging equipment (MR equipment) to ensure the required accuracy of the data obtained in order to increase the diagnostic value of the results of MR studies.
GOST R 59092-2020 establishes methods for testing the quality parameters of structural and quantitative images of MR equipment.
The new standard introduces a system for monitoring the performance parameters of magnetic resonance imaging equipment.
